Hi! I can't wait to share our home and love with a child and have fun being a kid again through our child.

I don't mind being a little silly and having fun doing "non grown up" things! I can't wait to be a mom. I had a great role model growing up and hope that one day I can be as good of a mom as my mom was.

We got married in August, 1989. We met in 1986 at the skating rink. It didn't take us 3 years to figure out we were suppose to be together, but it took 3 years for me to finish growing up.  We knew early on we'd eventually marry.

I recently took on the role of branch manager at a local branch allowing me more time to spend with our child. My career affords us great benefits and this new role allows me to be there for our childs activities and needs.

In the summers, you may find me in a hammock with a book, in the pool playing with family and friends or just enjoying the sunshine, most likely with a camera in my hand, loving to capture memories with the family to revisit later..

I enjoy entertaining family with good meals and testing new recipes and every Friday night, we go out for dinner, soon to be as a family.

My favorite foods are: any Mexican food, especially chips and salsa, Italian food, hotdogs & doritos and coke zero!!

My love of doritos resulted in a friend sending me an autographed bag of doritos by Mr Scoops himself and some "dorito dust".

My least favorite foods are: liver and peas

I look forward to summer vacations, whether it be at home, at the beach, in the mountains or Historical sites. One thing that never changes though....there is ALWAYS a trip to the beach.  Our other vacations may vary or may be a repeat to the beach.  Even better is when we can combine a vacation with an opportunity to visit my brother and his family. We have especially enjoyed meeting them for a weekend at Nags Head, watching Shannon play in softball tournaments on a couple of occassions, a weekend at Virginia Beach, watching Shelby play in a soccer tournament and a weekend trip to Williamsburg lined up with a visit to see our girls and watch Shelby graduate high school.

Some of my hobbies and interests include: photographing family and friends, reading, American Eskimo dogs, writing and drawing, swimming, facebook games and cooking. We decide our Friday night dinners based on which one of us does the best with our fantasy racing.  I could eat Mexican food 3 times a day. This gives Wayne a chance to have something other than Mexican food on our dates. Check out Bonkers....even the kitty plays Farmville.  We have 3 desks in the home office, in case our child likes to play games too and we can do this as a family.

I've always been a big doggie girl. I love my Arlo and every dog I've ever had. Even my baby album has me and dogs in it more than anything else.  If our child loves dogs too, her and her new daddy have a date to pick out another dog to add to the family.
